Frequently asked questions
Does it work with any PDF?
It works with PDFs that contain real text (those created from Word, browsers or other apps). In scanned PDFs, where each page is actually an image, there is no selectable text and nothing may be extracted.
Are my files uploaded to the internet?
No. The whole process happens inside your browser. The PDF is never sent to any server, so it is completely private.
Does it keep the original formatting?
Plain text is extracted, without bold, tables or columns. The goal is to let you copy and reuse the content anywhere.
Is there a page or size limit?
There is no limit imposed by a server. The only practical limit is your device memory, so very large documents may take a bit longer.
